Sweep is engineered fundamentally as a 100% on-device local utility app. We do not maintain remote storage servers for your media content, we do not run tracking analytics scripts, and we never collect, upload, or transmit your screenshots, metadata, or parsed text coordinates away from your physical handset.

1. Information We Access & Process

To provide automated background cleaning routines, scheduled expiration workflows, and auto-detect triggers, Sweep requests specific device access permissions. All interaction logic compiles completely inside your local memory environment:

Media Storage & Photo Gallery Permissions: Necessary to identify newly captured screenshots, read their timestamp values, and execute the background system removal queries once your chosen deletion timer runs out.
Foreground Package System Heuristics: When using our optional contextual auto-presets configuration, the app reads active foreground package signatures locally (e.g., matching a native store application identifier) to automatically assign custom expiration timers. This data is instantly dumped from volatile memory context and is never written or logged.
On-Device OCR Engine Parsers: If you activate text-recognition categorization filters, image bitmaps are fed straight into the native device machine learning APIs (like Android ML Kit framework layers). Text scanning runs inside local boundaries—no outbound network transmissions are permitted.

2. Data Collection and Retention Outlines

Because our operational runtime footprint requires zero centralized database infrastructure components, Sweep does not log any personal identifiers, device hardware profiles, location telemetry matrices, or contextual usage patterns. Our system maps out your scheduled tasks entirely on a local SQLite or Room database layer packed directly inside your private app directory containers.

When you delete an item via Sweep, it triggers standard native platform operating system storage garbage collection pathways. Uninstalling Sweep completely purges your local configurations database instantly.

3. Third-Party Libraries and Service Footprints

Sweep relies exclusively on platform-native structural tools and dependencies to optimize device efficiency and protect processing runtimes. We do not integrate tracking SDKs, data brokers, advertising cookies, or behavioral analytical tracking tool suites.

4. Data Protection Rights & Operational Disclosures

Since your photos, media metadata, and custom rules preferences never exit your handset interface boundaries, you maintain absolute control over access parameters at all times. You can terminate permissions contexts instantly through your device's core system configurations panel, which will immediately freeze background orchestration activities.

5. Changes to This Privacy Framework

We may refine this documentation profile to match newer device operating system permissions changes. Any updates will take effect the moment they are pushed to the live application distributions networks, keeping our commitment to absolute on-device privacy perfectly intact.
